Choosing the Right Dive Center

The first thing you should do when you start your journey into scuba diving is to choose a dive center in Bali that has a good reputation. It is important to look for facilities that have instructors who are certified, equipment that is well maintained, and a strong emphasis on safety. The island of Bali is home to a multitude of dive centers that cater to novice divers who are eager to take the plunge. Whether you are drawn to the lively dive hub of Sanur or the peaceful coastlines of Nusa Lembongan, Bali has something to offer you.

Exploring the Hidden Treasures of Bali’s Underwater World

An abundance of dive sites that are suitable for novice divers can be found in Bali. These dive sites range from captivating shipwrecks to vivid coral gardens. As a result of its tranquil waters, plentiful marine life, and high visibility, sites such as the Blue Lagoon in Padangbai and the colorful reefs of Menjangan Island are ideal for novice divers who wish to refine their abilities while also taking in the breathtaking beauty of the underwater world.

The Mastery of Fundamental Skills

It is vital to have a solid foundation in fundamental scuba diving skills before delving into the depths of the ocean. You should enroll in a scuba diving course for beginners, where you will be guided through fundamental methods such as controlling your buoyancy, equalizing your air pressure, and communicating underwater. You will feel more confident and be better equipped to enjoy the underwater delights of Bali if you spend some time honing these skills.

Accepting the Challenge

When you are just starting out, it is normal to experience a range of emotions, including enthusiasm and fear. With an open mind and a sense of inquiry, you should throw yourself into the adventure. Maintain your composure, have faith in your training, and take pleasure in each and every minute as you immerse yourself in the entrancing world that lies beneath the waves.

Respecting Marine Life and the Ecosystem

When exploring the underwater beauty that is Bali, it is important to remember to demonstrate respect for the aquatic life and to maintain the sensitive marine ecosystem. In order to avoid accidentally damaging corals, you should avoid touching or upsetting marine organisms and pay attention to your buoyancy all the time. In the event that you tread lightly, you will be making a contribution to the preservation of the marine biodiversity of Bali for the enjoyment of future generations of divers.

Creating Memories

If you want to have a record of your scuba diving adventures in Bali, you should take pictures of the magnificent underwater moments. For the purpose of immortalizing your experiences with colorful fish, graceful sea turtles, and the kaleidoscope tapestry of coral reefs, you should either purchase a camera that is waterproof or rent one from the dive facility. These photographic remembrances will serve as enduring recalls of the first diving adventures you had a chance to enjoy.

Preparing for Your Adventure

If you are planning to go scuba diving in Bali, it is important to keep in mind that the most important things you can bring with you are a sense of wonder, patience, and safety. You will discover the fascination of the water and build a profound connection with the aquatic life with each descent into the azure depths of the ocean. This dive was the experience of a lifetime! Sensational coral, colourful fishes everywhere and a shipwreck to explore. Ketut my dive master was exceptional and helped me so much. Bail Diving went above and beyond. Tulumben is such a cool place to be. I highly recommend this as a ‘Must Do’ dive.

Had a really great first diving experience. Chris is the BEST! Never left my side, always made sure that I’m fine and was so patient and considerate. I felt comfortable and safe all the time. My boyfriend didn’t feel good at the beginning. Chris tried to make him feel better and brought him back to the shore with me as he wanted to quit. Our driver Putu was also super kind and funny. Would definitely recommend Bali Diving to everyone. Especially for first time divers like me. Thank you!!

Amazing experience, staff are very friendly and helpful, they pointed out different locations and beaches along the way and answered any questions we had.I loved how small the group was, it didn’t feel like a big tourist thing, it felt intimate. The Snorkel instructor pointed out lots of turtles and other sea life.We were lucky enough to see 4 Manta Rays. Best experience of my life!It is a big day, so pack extra snacks for yourself, extra warm clothes and extra sunscreen. We will defiantly be doing this again.

The couches are super friendly and helpful. Very convenient for pick up and drop off service. You should all try and ask them for renting a GoPro to record this amazing experience. Will sure to go back.

These are the best people ever. Every single person who works here is not only kind but knowledgeable and helpful beyond belief. I couldn’t be happier with my first week in Bali and it is all thanks to Bali diving. I got my open water and advanced in the time I asked for, and made many friends in the process - I cannot say enough about how lovely the entire crew is. If you are considering which dive shop to do, go here, they will take the best care of you. I only wish I could dive with them for longer!! Also their cat is cute, bonus.

Went diving with my wife with this dive school. We went to Nusa Pelida to Manta Point, and two points up north. Our guide, Agus, was extremely professional and thoughtful of us and took good care guiding my partner in these waters as currents can be very strong. Honestly, this was among the best diving I've done in my life.We saw manta rays, giant turtles, and a ton of fish. We even had to hold on to rocks as the current got so strong that we were waving like flags hanging onto these rocks. At all times we felt safe as Agus was extremely knowledgeable of these waters and had a good eye on us.Lunch on the boat was simple and wonderful.Thank you so much guys for giving us this wonderful diving experience. Next time I'm in Bali, i'll be sure to visit you again.

Amazing!I had my diving course and did my first dive with Bali Diving. At first, I learned it in the swimming pool, then to Padang Bai, and Tulamben (USAT Liberty Shipwreck). And it's so much fun!As someone with zero diving experience, the explanation from the dive instructor, Bli Ketut Latra, was very clear and easy to understand. Whenever I felt nervous, he could calm me down and made me excited to master the diving skills. Bli Ketut was also fun to talk with during the trip. He is the best! The staff from Bali Diving are also very friendly and helpful. They have diving masks for people with glasses (my eyes are -4). And at that time I was able to use it at no extra cost! However, there was additional cost for the diving documentation.During the diving course, everything had been prepared: transportation, diving equipment, lunch. I just needed to bring a towel and sunscreen.Anyway, I highly recommend Bali Diving for anyone who wants to learn or try diving.Thank you, Bali Diving!
